Leg Pain and Peripheral Artery Disease
I am having pain from my toe to my knee daily, could this
possibly by P.A.D.?
Many things can cause leg pain ranging from injury, cramps and nerve irritation to
impaired circulation and infection. Peripheral artery disease can be a
very dangerous condition as it reflects a significant amount plaque buildup in
your arteries. If you have a history of heart disease in your family or
have other significant risk factors for heart disease this may very well be a
possibility.
Your best course of action if you are suspicious of P.A.D. is to be evaluated
by your primary care doctor. If it turns out this is not the case you
must still continue to narrow down what might be the cause before you start
seeking traditional or natural approaches.
